We spent a sunny week
in Jamaica at Sandals Whitehouse. It was all inclusive so we had more than our fill of food, drinks, sun and fun.

A good friend of
Jillian's, Bev Klingensmith, was kind enough to take our engagement pictures in Fall of 2007.
She has her own home studio and we also took pictures at Maytag park in Newton.
Bev will also be a bridesmaid.
Our photography package for the wedding came
with a free engagement session. We choose our one year engagement anniversary to take a few pictures around Ames.

Matt's mom
Lynn conspired with her sisters and mom to turn an annual family dinner
into a surprise engagement party. They even dressed us up as a Bride and Groom.

We bought our first
home in April of 2006. We've painted, added a strawberry terrace and have plans for
landscaping and finishing the basement.

|
We joined efforts
with our neighbors for a
housewarming/neighborhood block party shortly after moving in. Matt's dad, Craig, helped us pull
it all together with tent and chair rentals and the elusive keggerator.

Halloween parties,
snow days, our beloved pets and more.
1 dog and 2 kitties to keep our lives interesting.
The ISU fans were slightly outnumbered, but ISU won!
